Craig Patrick, Owner of the Bruins, has his hockey roots as a player, coach and hockey parent. He became involved with the Bruins because of his passion for community service, youth development, and the game of hockey. Craig and his wife Michele live in Hudson, WI and are proud to represent the Austin Bruins and all that they stand for in the community and to the development of junior hockey in Minnesota.
Director, Community Relations
Kelsey is entering her second season with the Bruins as Director, Community Relations. She is an Austin native and is excited to work with her hometown community and surrounding areas. She played hockey for the Austin Packers throughout high school and was part of the 2007 and 2008 state team. Kelsey earned her Bachelor's degree in Sports Management with a minor in Mass Communications from Bemidji State University. She also completed an internship with the Austin Bruins in the summer of 2013.
Broadcasting and Media Relations
Broadcaster John Peterson hails from Stillwater, MN and is proud to be in his first year as play-by-play voice of the Bruins. John graduated from Arizona State University in 2010 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, and got his start calling ASU Division I club hockey games on the radio. He spent the last three years in hockey-rich Roseau, MN, broadcasting high school sports, and is excited to get to know the fans this year in Austin. Summer 2014 Intern
Jackson spent the summer of 2014 as an intern for the Bruins. He is a Pierre, South Dakota native and currently attends Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota, where he is majoring in Sports Marketing and Administration with a minor in Entrepreneurial Studies. While at Northern, Jackson volunteered with the Northern Wolves Men’s and Women’s basketball teams on game nights during the 2012-13 season and was a Gameday Operations and Marketing Intern with the Aberdeen Wings during the 2013-14 season. His experience with the Austin Bruins was incredible. He learned a great deal about junior hockey, sports business, promotions and community outreach.
